- Sheer Splendor provides work order forms for your convenience. They can be faxed, mailed or dropped off. To avoid any missed information, we encourage designers to use our work orders. To prevent delays, all finished dimensions must be listed.
- Once your work order(s) is received, an estimate will be faxed or e-mailed back to you within 24 hours. This estimate will show your cost and fabric requirements.
- Please do not order your fabric until we advise you of fabric requirements. If less than required yardage is received, your order cannot be processed.
- This estimate must be signed and returned back to Sheer Splendor with a 50% deposit to be entered into our production schedule.
- Once all of your fabric and any other items required for production are received at Sheer Splendor, you will be notified by fax or e-mail of an estimated completion date. Although every effort is made to meet or precede this date, it is not a guaranteed completion date. Please inquire to our additional charges for “rush orders”.
- Upon completion, you will be notified by fax or e-mail that your product is ready for pick up. The balance of your order must be paid upon pick-up. If you decide to have your order picked up directly by an installer, a check must be mailed prior to pick-up.
- Sheer Splendor products are made to your specifications. The designer is responsible for fabric and style design choices. There will be no guarantees on the following fabrics: casements, moirés, delicate cottons, rayons, silk, velvet and heavy upholstery fabrics. These fabrics are inherently difficult to determine stability and are very unpredictable when installed. There may be an additional charge to work with these fabrics.
- If you choose to ship your fabric directly to Sheer Splendor, it must be clearly marked with your account name and job name.
- Sheer Splendor's responsibility for lost, miscut or damaged fabric will not exceed $25 per yard.
- Sheer Splendor will return all unused fabric with your order. If items are picked up by an installer, fabric must be picked up within 30 days.
- Sheer Splendor will not accept any COD orders. Please make sure all of your orders are shipped, prepaid.
- Cancellation will not be allowed once production labor has begun. Changes on an order in production may not be possible.
- All labor prices include permanent buckram, corner weights and coordinating thread. Side and bottom hems are blind stitched by machine unless impossible.
- Sheer Splendor can ship your custom products. Please inquire for details.
- Sheer Splendor products are custom made to order and cannot be returned for any reason except fabrication defect or input error. Claims must be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Remakes will be prioritized into our production schedule.
- Remakes or reworks due to designer error will incur hourly labor charges.
- Sheer Splendor will always do its best to accommodate any special requests.
